{A small Town Christmas Tradition}

I love Christmas Carols and there is something special about singing them around town on the back of a horse drawn wagon!
THis is one of my favorite traditions of our church in our small town!
Thankfully, we did this last weekend when the weather was decent, not this weekend when them temps are around 10 degrees and the wind chills is well below zero!
We went to the apartments, the care home and the hospital singing as we went!
There was lots of laughter and great smiles to go with the music!
We returned to the church for a soup supper and the children''s program...
This little shepherd made me smile...
The head angel too....
and this one...
Joseph was a handsome guy too, sadly I missed the oldest shepherd...
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

{First Gymnastics Meet of the Season!}

The girls and I headed to our State's Judges Cup a few weekends ago.
It was the first meet of the season for Lenna & Abigayl.
Lenna was first up, there were only 2 girls from our gym competing that session.
Lenna has put a lot of hard work heading into the meet after her finger fracture several months ago.
She has been nervous and had some ups and down but her hard work is paying off.
Bars has been hard to come back to partly because of her grip and partly because it was on bars that she had her injury. She had a great day though!
She finished 1st in two events and 2nd in two, missing first place all around by .05 of a point!
Abigayl's group competed after lunch.
There are only 2 girls in her level this year from our team.
Bars is one of her favorite events this year and she placed really well at this meet on that event.

{Thanksgiving & Abigayl's Birthday at Grandpa & Grandma's 2016}

We had a wonderful day with Grandpa & Grandma!
We ate and ate, played croquet, flew drones and went geocaching!
We also celebrated Abigayl's birthday! A great way to spend the day and so much to be thankful for!
