Sunday Snapshot {A Birthday, Mothers Day and a special gift...}

First I want to thank you all for your kind words about our new daughter, Clara. {If you didn't read about Clara, check out this post.} We are so excited as a family and can't wait to bring her home. We are so thankful for this sweet blessing the Lord has bestowed on us!

On Saturday evening we had a little birthday celebration for our sweet girl. We enjoyed a small ice cream cake and shared about our hopes for our new daughter and little sister.

 Eli has fallen in love with her picture and takes it to bed with him each night!

 Mother's Day was wonderful and relaxing too! I am so thankful that God has called me to be a mom.

Part of my Mother's Day gift I picked out. I have been wanting one of these signs for a long time to hang on the end our fireplace inside the front door. It came on Thursday and Shawn hung it yesterday....

Then last night we got a very unexpected gift... (thank you A! Your gift is more than we could have ever ask for!) pictures of sweet Clara waiting...

 We can't wait to squeeze this little bundle of joy!
